What a chilly week with snow as well, however this didn’t deter participants from attending the week’s planned training!
The second Train the Trainer session as part of the Early Identification of Need programme took place on Thursday.
SENDCo’s and SLE’s came together to consider the importance of high quality teaching and learning to support learners with SEND.
Participants explored a number of guidance reports from the EEF and unpicked the recommendation’s including the 5-a day principles.
School Direct trainees enjoyed Curriculum sessions on the teaching of English and Design Technology.

We were delighted to welcome the Chartered College of Teaching to a School Direct session.
We learnt about the wealth of information and support available for all support staff, trainees and qualified teachers
