Teaching Assistant Development Programme
It’s safe to say that ‘expertise lies within’.
TA Development Programme
The second session of the Teaching Assistant Development programme this week concentrated upon understanding identified conditions.
Staff spent time ‘story telling’, sharing their reflections of learners' needs across the 4 broad areas.
It was fantastic to hear how staff build knowledge through observation and interaction, developing relationships to secure progress.
Thank you to all the participants and to the Learning Centre for hosting.
The 3rd Train the Trainer session of the Early Identification of Need programme took place on Thursday.
Train the Trainer
SENCOs and SLE/SLT’s from Oldham and Tameside Primary schools spent time exploring practice to support pupils and parents, carers, families of pupils with SEND.
We were also delighted to welcome @POINTSend to the session to share their work. They are supporting families to access support around behaviour and communication.
In other news, the EL Team has been without Anna this week as she has spent time supporting young people at Disney.
We look forward to welcoming her back.
Have a lovely weekend!
