First Aid at Work
A number of colleagues attended the 3-day First Aid at work course where, through a number of grisly life like role plays, they applied the skills and knowledge learnt on the course.
They threw themselves into the scenarios with gusto - and many thanks to the trainer Allan Shaw for creating a great learning environment.

Learning Escape
We are delighted to share that Learning Escape (also affectionately known as The Shed) is now a fully functioning training/meeting room. Many thanks to the premises team for their hard work in bringing the room back to its former glory.

Waj
We welcomed Waj into the Everyonelearning team officially this week. He joined us as a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice. Waj was a student at New Bridge college and had to go through the same recruitment route as all applicants - so a huge well done.

I asked him to describe his experience in his own words -
Greetings everyone, my name is Waj and I only very recently started my Level 3 business apprenticeship at the Everyone Learning team and let me say right off the bat that it has been one of the greatest steps in my life. From being a former student to now becoming a full-fledged staff member, I must admit that being on the other side of the table is both a empowering yet obviously bizarre shift indeed, I mean, could you imagine going from calling your former mentors and tutors of many years (Some even going as far back as my first year in secondary school) your colleagues now?!Overall, I must admit that so far, I can't even begin to explain just how lucky and privileged I feel to stand where I stand today. Indeed, it has been quite the long and arduous journey but at the same time, it has simultaneously also been a thrilling, fulfilling and monumental one.I would like to also send out a warm and heartfelt thanks to all the selfless and oh so outstanding staff members who not only supported me into achieving this job role, but furthermore continue to support me even after achieving this role, not to mention of course the absolutely fantastic new colleagues and mentors I've met in my new role.
