A week to celebrate as our School Based Secondary Trainee Teachers completed their PGCE with QTS programme.

We are also delighted to have offered opportunities across our Trust.

A huge thank you to Jean Beaumont who expertly guides and supports every trainee so they are successful.

It was also a final goodbye to our University Lead Mentor Peter Tankard as he steps away towards retirement.

The Primary Trainees remain on placement until the middle of July when their course concludes.

Look out on Monday for the Greater Manchester Festival of Education.

New Bridge will be broadcasting to many colleges and schools sharing their commitment to MBACC and technical qualifications.

Amy Wells and Mohammed Waj from the Central Teams will showcase their Apprenticeship journeys.

As always it’s wonderful to share how we ‘Create Meaningful Futures’ for everyone !

We concluded an incredible 18 months with 5 Oldham Secondary Schools this week who have been working hard to develop a whole school approach to inclusive practice.

In partnership with the East Manchester Teaching Hub, New Bridge has supported each school’s SENCO through a mixture of Train the Trainer and Network activity. It’s been fantastic!

A huge thank you to Saddleworth School, Brian Clarke Academy, Waterhead Academy, North Chadderton and The Bluecoat School for their engagement.

Have a great week ahead!
